Media culture essays

A continuing stream of shorter writing addresses media culture as it moves: virtuality and net art, Second Life and virtual performance, curation as infrastructure, disappearance and the unstable archive, digital minimalism, low-resolution seeing, and most recently AI and synthetic culture.

These essays appear in journals, catalogues, anthologies and online platforms. Taken together they form a running commentary on the same questions the artwork pursues: mediation, belief, authorship and the material life of digital systems.
